Gian Piero Gasperini
Gian Piero Gasperini (born 26 January 1958) is an Italian professional Manager (association football), football manager and former professional Association football, footballer who is currently the head coach of Serie A club AS Roma, Roma. After starting his managerial career at F.C. Crotone, Crotone, he had spells in charge of Genoa CFC, Genoa and Inter Milan where he was sacked after just three months. He subsequently managed U.S. Città di Palermo, Palermo and had a second spell at Genoa. Gasperini was then manager of Atalanta for nine years, in which he led the club to five UEFA Champions League, Champions League qualifications and won the UEFA Europa League, Europa League in 2024 UEFA Europa League final, 2024. Grugliasco
Grugliasco (; ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region of Piedmont, about west of Turin. Grugliasco borders the municipalities of Turin, Collegno, and Rivoli. In 1945, members of the retreating German 34th Infantry Division and 5th Mountain Division murdered 68 civilians in retaliation for a partisan ambush in the town and in Collegno. Origins of the name The origin of the name could be derived from the predaural Gruglascum, Curlascum, from Currelio - ascum, the ancient name of the Roman settler to whom, at the time of the Roman centuriation of the western suburbs of Turin, was perhaps assigned part of these lands. Other scholars instead argue that the toponym refers to crane birds, which perhaps once stopped here during seasonal migrations. Campionato Nazionale Primavera
The Campionato Nazionale Primavera – Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti, was an Italian football youth competition. It is organised by the Lega Serie A and the participating teams that take part in Serie A and Serie B: the first edition was held in the 1962–63 season, in place of the "Campionato Cadetti". Due to ceremonial reasons, the league is officially called Campionato Primavera Tim – Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti. Diego Milito
Diego Alberto Milito (born 12 June 1979) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was nicknamed ''El Principe'' ("The Prince" in Spanish) because of his physical resemblance with former Uruguayan footballer Enzo Francescoli, who had the same nickname. Milito began his club career in Argentina with Racing Club in 1999, and later moved to Italian side Genoa in 2003. In 2005, he was acquired by Spanish club Real Zaragoza, where he remained for three seasons, before returning to Genoa in 2008. His prolific goalscoring exploits during his second spell at Genoa earned him a move to defending Serie A champions Inter Milan. The 2009–10 UEFA Europa League was the first season of the UEFA Europa League, Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA. The competition was previously known as the UEFA Cup, which had been in existence for 38 years. The 2008–09 Serie A (known as the Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons) was the 107th season of top-tier Italian football, the 77th in a round-robin tournament. Genoa CFC enjoyed its best season in recent history and finished fifth in Serie A. Topscorer Diego Milito hit the back of the net 24 times, and earned a move to Inter prior to the 2009-10 season. The ex-player and 29-year-old Argentinian Milito, arrived from relegated Spanish side Real Zaragoza, and the returnee performed his best season yet.
